THE Brewers return to the Pirelli Stadium for an Easter Monday Sky Bet League One game.

This time the visitors are Barnsley, who are in the thick of the promotion race and who currently occupy a play-off position.

Burton Albion v Barnsley takes place on Monday, April 1, with a 3pm kick off.

The Brewers secured a second season of  Championship football on April 29, 2017 with a 1-1 draw at Barnsley. Luke Varney secured the point with an equaliser in the second half.

The two clubs have played each other 12 times in all competitions since the Brewers were promoted to the Football League in 2009. Albion have won three, drawn four and lost five, including a 2-0 defeat when the teams last met in September.
