BURTON Albion winger Jakub Niemczyk became the latest Academy graduate to sign a professional contract in July 2022.

Niemczyk's first experience of senior football came as a first-year scholar as the Polish youth international was named on the bench for our EFL Trophy game against Peterborough United in September 2020.

The winger was one of four Academy players to make their debut on that night, with Niemczyk coming on as a second half substitute and showing great confidence in attacking the Posh backline.
