Joining the club on 1st January 2017, Marvin moved to the Pirelli Stadium from League One side Coventry City, where he had scored seven goals in the first half of the season, and added a further four goals to earn himself an extended three-year contract with the Brewers.

Originally a part of the Fulham academy, it was at Watford that Marvin burst onto the scene. After joining the Hornets as a 16-year-old, loan spells with Wealdstone and Tranmere Rovers aided his development before he established himself as part of Malky McKay’s side in 2010, scoring 15 goals in all competitions. A further 10 goals in 29 games the following season led to a £3m move to Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League. Opportunities were limited at Bolton, although a run of games on their return to the Championship led to a loan move to Charlton Athletic and subsequently a move to Burnley for their 2014-15 Premier League campaign. After being on the fringes of things at Turf Moor, Marvin was released and the chance to play regular football came at Colchester United in League One. After a season with the U’s, Marvin stayed in League One linking up with Tony Mowbray at Coventry City, before Nigel Clough brought him to the Brewers. Often seen either in attack or wide his versatility offers a lot to Albion’s attacking options. In the latter half of the 2018-19 season, Marvin went out on loan to League Two Northampton Town.
