A VERSATILE left-sided player, Colin Daniel began his career in 2004 at now-dissolved Eastwood Town, before moving to Crewe Alexandra in 2007.
Daniel spent loan-spells at Grays Athletic, Leek Town, Halifax Town and Macclesfield Town and it was following that 2009 loan spell with the Silkmen that Colin moved to Moss Rose permanently, making over 100 appearances for the club and scoring 13 goals.
From there, he moved to Mansfield Town and made a further 67 appearances from 2012 to 2014. A spell at Port Vale featured a loan spell back at Mansfield Town, before he signed for Gary Bowyer’s Blackpool in 2016.
After 78 appearances, he left for pastures new and was signed by Steve Evans at Peterborough United for the 2018/19 season, but in the January of that campaign, Colin signed an 18-month deal at the Pirelli Stadium. His debut was certainly notable, as he faced Manchester City in the semi-final second leg of the Carabao Cup.
Daniel signed a new one-year deal with the club in the summer of 2020.
