Kyle McFadzean signed for the Brewers in the summer of 2016 for a club record fee at the time from MK Dons. Known for his strength and aggressive defending, McFadzean is becoming a fans favourite at the Pirelli.
Born in Sheffield, Kyle was a product of the Sheffield United academy before being given a squad number in the 2005-2006 season where he mainly played for the reserves.
Kyle joined Conference side Alfreton Town in 2007 and spent three successful years with the club making 85 appearances scoring three goals.
In August 2010 Crawley Town came in for McFadzean and on his debut season he helped the side win promotion to League Two. He was also named in the Conference team of the year in that season.
McFadzean spent four years with Crawley playing 133 games and scoring 9 goals. MK Dons came calling for McFadzean and he joined them on a two year deal with the option of a third in the summer of 2014.
McFadzean scored on his Dons debut against Gillingham and made himself a fans favourite after scoring a backheal goal against rivals AFC Wimbledon in a 3-1 victory.
After the Dons were relegated in the 2015/2016 season, McFadzean joined the Brewers and played 31 times scoring the one goal.
