Kyle McFadzean

Date of birth

Kyle is now in his third season with the Brewers having signed on a three-year deal from Milton Keynes Dons in the summer of 2016 for an undisclosed club record fee.

A product of the youth system at Sheffield United, Kyle made his way through to the first team as an uncompromising central defender to make his debut in the League Cup back in 2005 but with chances limited he chose to drop into non-league with Alfreton Town to secure regular football.

England semi-professional honours came his way whilst at Alfreton and a return to the Football League came around when he helped Crawley Town to the Conference title having signed for the Red Devils for an undisclosed fee. Success continued at the Broadfield with a second successive promotion, this time to League One with individual honours as a result being named in the team of the year for a second year running as recognition for his part in the club's promotion.

After four years and over 150 games for Crawley another undisclosed fee took Kyle to MK Dons and another promotion quickly followed as the Dons earned a first promotion to the Championship with Kyle at the heart of their defence.

When MK Dons were relegated after one season in the second tier Kyle was snapped up by Nigel Clough as part of a new-look Albion defence and more than played his part in helping the Brewers secure a second season in the division with some commanding performances.
