WELSH international Neal Eardley signed a one-year deal with the Brewers in the summer of 2020 after leaving League One rivals Lincoln City.
Eardley had made 140 appearances in all competitions for the Imps prior to leaving Sincil Bank, where he spent three years plying his trade.
Beginning his career with Oldham Athletic, Eardley was snapped up by Ian Holloway's Blackpool in 2009 for an undisclosed fee. He would spend four years with the Seasiders, before joining Birmingham City, initially under Lee Clark but subsequently playing for former Brewers boss Gary Rowett.
Brief spells at Hibernian and Northampton Town followed before Eardley's move to Lincoln.
Eardley represented his country at U17, U19 and U21 level before earning 16 caps for the Welsh senior side.
