Date of birth

188 cm

Northern Ireland

Tom signed a new two year deal with the Brewers in August 2017 having originally joined the club in the summer of 2015 after leaving previous club MK Dons.

Tom progressed well whilst at Stadium MK and captained the under 18s whilst still a scholar and impressed sufficiently to get his first team debut in February 2010.

After penning his first professional deal a move to Conference side Kettering Town provided valuable first team experience and some impressive performances resulted in a recall to the Dons. After a run of first team games in 2011-12 Tom made a temporary move to Gillingham for whom he scored against Albion in the FA Cup.

His performances for the Gills earned a call up to the Northern Ireland under 21 side. Injury stalled his progress at Priestfield but loans at Barnet, Stevenage and Plymouth along with a part in MK Dons promotion winning squad in 2015 got his career on track.

With competition fierce at MK Dons Tom opted to join for Albion under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink playing his part in another promotion winning campaign and becoming a versatile member of the squad last season as Albion retained their Championship status.

A string of consistent performances led to a full debut for the Northern Ireland senior team and Tom will be looking to add to his international caps over the coming season.
