AN experienced midfielder with international and Premier League experience, Stephen Quinn is going into his third season with the Brewers.

Initially joining the Brewers on a short-term deal in August 2018 after briefly training with the first-team, Quinn signed up to the summer of 2020 during that subsequent transfer window, before extending his stay for a further year last summer.

Quinn spent the first seven years of his professional career at Sheffield United, with initial loan spells out to MK Dons and Rotherham United. He became a first-team regular for Sheffield United in the 2006-07 season, earning their Young Player of the Season award and a new contract in the process.

A move to Hull City followed in 2012, where he again became a popular figure for the Tigers as they earned promotion to the Premier League. He moved to Reading in 2015 but injury saw him make only 45 appearances for the Royals.

Quinn has represented the Republic of Ireland on 18 occasions.
