BORN in Herne and of Ghanaian descent, Amissah spent his youth career in Germany with the likes of Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund before moving to Sheffield in 2018, and signing his first professional contract with the Blades in 2021.

Amissah had two loan spells last season - making six appearances for Guiseley and 18 for Spennymoor Town, both playing in National League North - before making his United debut earlier this season, coming off the bench to replace Wes Foderingham in the Blades' 1-1 draw with Luton Town.

The young keeper signed on loan for the Brewers in January 2023, making his debut in our Emirates FA Cup game at Grimsby Town.
