Date of birth
CANADIAN-BORN Daniel burst onto the Premier League scene last season, becoming the youngest player to score on their first Premier League start when he netted for parent club Sheffield United against Everton at the age of 17.
In a breakthrough season Daniel ended the campaign with four first team appearances for the Blades along with an appearance on loan at National League North side Chorley.
Eligible to play for both England and Canada, Daniel has already represented the Three Lions at under-18 level and been selected in a provisional Canada squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Daniel was highly sought-after in the summer with interest from Premier League clubs for a permanent move but Daniel opted to stay with the Blades and head on loan to the Pirelli Stadium to continue his development under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
