A POPULAR and experienced striker, Louis moved to the Brewers at the end of his contract with Championship side Preston North End after three years at Deepdale.
A product of the Stoke City academy Louis gained valuable experience out of loan at Bradford City, Mansfield Town, Accrington Stanley and Alfreton Town.
After leaving the Potters when his contract was up in 2012 Louis headed to Northampton Town before dropping into non-league for spells with Nuneaton Borough and Wrexham where he was a regular goalscorer for both.
His exploits, particularly at the Racecourse Ground caught the attention of SPL side Motherwell who paid an undisclosed fee to take him north of the border.
A goal-laden two-and-a-half years at Fir Park saw Preston make their move but a serious knee injury impacted his playing time leading to his release and arrival at the Pirelli Stadium.
