A FORMER Coventry City youth player, Marcus switched to the Burton Albion Academy before going on to make his full debut in the Football League Trophy in 2013 against Notts County.
His League debut came six months later before signing a two-year contract with the club.
Marcus had spells on loan with Ilkeston Town, Aldershot Town and had a full season loan in League Two with Port Vale during the 2017-18 season.
He returned to become a regular first team player in the 2018-19 season in League One, notably scoring his first league one for the club away at Rochdale in January 2019, which was complimented by two further goals during the same game – thus scoring his first senior hattrick.
Harness would join Portsmouth in the summer of 2019.
