Burton Albion Academy

ACADEMY graduate Reece Hutchinson signed his first Burton Albion deal in May 2018 and having broken into the first-team early on in 2018/19, signed a two-and-a-half year contract keeping him at the Pirelli Stadium until 2021.

The pacy left-back had only been in the first-team squad for two weeks of the 2018/19 season before he was substituted for an injured Damien McCrory away at Gillingham. 

Hutchinson made the position his own and, despite his age, made an impression playing in the majority of games in the first half of the campaign.

Reece featured against his boyhood club Aston Villa in our Carabao Cup second round victory over the Villans in August 2018 and by the summer of 2020 had made 54 appearances in all competitions for the Brewers, eventually leaving the Pirelli Stadium in 2021.
