BLACKBURN ROVERS BETTING PREVIEW WITH TEMPOBET

24 February 2017

THE Brewers head into Friday’s clash with Blackburn Rovers in good form with the game being billed as their biggest of the season.

Burton held rivals Derby to an impressive draw midweek and have taken four points off the Rams this campaign.

This followed an impressive win over play-off chasing Norwich City at the Pirelli at the weekend, so Nigel Clough and his players will be confident heading into the clash.

And they couldn’t be playing Rotherham at a better time, who sacked Owen Coyle during the week, before appointing Tony Mowbray as head coach – must to the dismay of the club’s fans.

Rovers are in serious danger of playing League One football next season and could fall nine points behind the Brewers if they suffer yet another defeat.

Mowbray takes over a side who have talent amongst their ranks but have struggled to maintain any consistency throughout the season.

The former Premier League champions have done the double over Championship leaders Newcastle this season, so there’s certainly quality in the squad.

But Clough’s men are buoyant and look to be improving game-by-game, especially since loanees Michael Kightly, Cauley Woodrow and Lasse Vigen Christensen joined the club.

The trio have formed quite the attacking relationship and will be chomping at the bit to have a go at a leaky Rovers defence.

Add Jackson Irvine and Marvin Sordell into the side, then Clough boasts an exciting side as we head into a crucial part of the season.

You can back our boys at 5/4 with club sponsor TempoBet.

Record signing Irvine has taken a back seat since the new boys joined the club but the Australian international still looks dangerous every time he plays.

Irvine is available at 31/20 to score anytime.
