CLOUGH URGES SIDE TO BE MORE CLINICAL

22 October 2016

BREWERS manager has spoken of the importance that his side continue to pick up points where they can but has urged them to be more clinical in the final third.

Clough said: It’s important to keep picking points up, there is nothing more damaging than losing knowing you haven’t got any points and that can also damage morale too.

“However, if you pick up a point like we did at Wigan away from home, we would have probably taken it at the beginning of the match.

“We have only lost two games in ten now, which is great considering the sides that we have faced so far. If we can find a bit more quality in the final third, we will hopefully turn a few draws into wins.

“We have been more solid since the first two games where we conceded six, I think with our first choice back three out, we are very hard to break down.”
