BALFC THROUGH TO THE THIRD ROUND OF THE WOMEN'S FA CUP

4 October 2015

BURTON Albion Ladies FC are through to the third round of the Women’s FA Cup after victories against Premier Division side Crusaders LFC and more recently, Stourbridge LFC.

The tie will be played on Sunday 11th October, 2PM KO against Ruddington Ladies FC at Mickleover Sports FC, Station Road, Mickleover.

Ruddington come to Burton after an excellent 8-2 win away at Arnold own Ladies and will be looking to continue their good form in the competition.

Entry Fee: £2 Adults, FREE to Season Ticket Holders & Under 16`s.

Adam Smallman commented after the second round victory “We knew today would be hard but we have come away with the win and another clean sheet.

“We play some excellent football but sometimes we need to remember the basics and retain the ball better.

“We have got some difficult games in League format coming up so we need to keep improving as a group.”
