DOMINIC KNOWLES JOINS HARROGATE TOWN

21 July 2015

DOMINIC Knowles has joined Harrogate Town on a permanent basis.

Knowles made 22 appearances for Burton Albion last season scoring one goal which came in the Capital One Cup at home to Wigan Athletic in a 2-1 win.

Born in Accrington, Knowles started his career at Burnley in 2008, coming through the youth system, but never made a first team appearance before his release in June 2012.

On 18 June 2013, Ex-Burnley trainee Knowles was awarded with a permanent contract after scoring 10 goals in 14 appearances for Harrogate Town.

On 30 January 2015, Dominic signed for Conference play-off hopefuls Kidderminster Harriers on loan until the end of the season. On 19 March, Dominic was recalled by his parent club.

Harrogate Town Association Football Club is an English semi-professional association football club based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The club was founded in 1914 and currently competes in the National League North, step 6 on the football pyramid.
