FLANAGAN LOOKING FORWARD TO SUNDAY'S YEST

4 September 2015

THE Brewers host Coventry City at the Pirelli Stadium on Sunday 6th September live in front of the Sky cameras.

They will be looking to bounce back to league action after being knocked out cruelly on penalties mid-week away at Doncaster Rovers, a game in which new-boy Tom Flanagan made his debut.

Despite not reaching full fitness yet, the former MK Dons defender is looking forward to the game on Sunday and he admits there has been a bit of talk throughout the week about the game.

“I'm looking forward to (Coventry).” He said.

“There's been a little bit of talk earlier on in the week about it and with it being on Sky, it's a good chance for the boys.

“From what I hear, there'll be a good crowd and I'm looking forward to it.

“They're challenging and it'll be a good marker for us.

“We want to win it obviously as a draw is never good enough at home, and we'll go back to the training ground, work hard on our game and be ready for Sunday.”

After a great start to the season, it appears that Hasselbaink is keeping his players feet firmly on the ground, as he did for the whole of last season.

Tom Flanagan said “We've got a target in the group and that's staying with us, and I'm sure our target will please the fans if we get it.”
