NEW TICKETING SYSTEM TO BE INTRODUCED FOR THE 2015/16 SEASON

24 June 2015

Burton Albion fans will benefit from a new ticketing system for the 2015/16 season which will make securing admission to Brewers games much easier.

For the first time, supporters will be able to buy tickets online for all areas of the Pirelli Stadium and reserve seats in the main stand, meaning that you can secure your match day experience whenever it’s convenient without having to travel to the ground.

Although there will be a booking fee for tickets purchased on line, fans will receive admission that is ÂŁ2 cheaper than on the day prices. Advance tickets can be purchased up to 5pm on the day before a game. Tickets bought on-line can be posted out for a small handling charge or collected on arrival at the ground.

Supporters who prefer to make ticket purchases in advance in person can do so during club shop opening hours, saving ÂŁ2 on match day prices and with no booking fee.

Fans will still be able to pay in cash on the gate for terrace admission on the day if they prefer, subject to tickets still being available. All seats in the stand will need to reserved on line or in the club shop – there will be no cash admission at the turnstiles.

Burton Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for all our fans to purchase match day tickets. The new system means that supporters can buy tickets at home at their leisure but can still pay in the shop or on the day at the turnstiles for the terraces if they prefer. With an expected increase in attendances in League One, this should make buying tickets easier and enable fans who prefer to plan ahead to make sure they have a ticket as well being able to save money on the match day admission prices.

“We will be adding extra facilities to the ticketing system, including booking and paying for away travel online.”

Burton Albion have also announced that match day car parking will be charged at ÂŁ3 per vehicle for the 2015/16, subject to spaces being available.

The first batch of homes games will be available to book at www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk from July 8th.

Another benefit of booking online is that fans will be able to receive a free e-newsletter direct to their email inbox, giving them the latest Burton Albion news as well as ticket details, special offers and competitions. Further details of the new service will be announced as the season gets underway.
