LEICESTER CITY TICKET UPDATE

10 October 2019

BURTON Albion Football Club is considering allocating the Don Amott Stand to Leicester City fans for our Carabao Cup Fourth Round tie in light of current sales figures.

The game takes place at the Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday, October 29, (7.45pm kick-off). Leicester have sold out of their allocation of tickets.

Home fans can currently purchase terrace tickets for the UK Waterproofing Solutions Stand (popside) only. So far around 50 per cent of tickets have been sold.

All seats for both home and away fans are sold out.

Burton Albion Chairman Ben Robinson said: “I have said previously that I would rather see a large number of home fans in the Don Amott Stand than see it filled to capacity with Leicester supporters, so I would encourage any of our fans who are considering coming to the game to buy tickets as soon as possible.

“But unless there is a surge of interest from our fans it make sense to offer this area to visiting supporters.

“This will not only benefit the club but would enable visiting fans who would otherwise miss out a chance to see the game. I’m sure our fans will understand that although we haven’t taken this step previously that it makes sense for all parties.”

A final decision on the Don Amott Stand will be made in the next few days.

Earlybird ticket prices for the game are as follows:

Adults: £22
Senior (65-plus): £20
Young Person (17-22): £20
