RUSSELL ROOF TILES AGREE TO BECOME BREWERS REAR SHIRT SPONSORS

30 July 2020

THE company logo of local roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles will be seen on the back of Burton Albion first team shirts during the 2020/21 campaign.

A deal has been agreed for the business to sponsor both the Brewers home and away jerseys for the up and coming season - which will also be featured on all shirts purchased by supporters.

Leading roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles has three sites, covering a total of 11 acres in Burton (on Nicolson Way and Wetmore Lane) and as well as in Scotland and manufactures concrete roof tiles and accessories used on homes and other buildings across the UK.

The company has supported Burton Albion for several years, sponsoring the East Stand at the Pirelli Stadium since 2018, as well as sponsoring the shirts of the Burton Albion Academy Under 15s side. The business has also used the Pirelli Stadium facilities to host corporate events, including its annual charity quiz and has taken part in the clubs annual Corporate 5-A-Side events.

Andrew Hayward (pictured raising a Brewers scarf), Managing Director at Russell Roof Tiles, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the rear of the new shirts for the new season.

“It’ll be an honour to see the Brewers run out at the Pirelli Stadium and other stadiums around the country displaying our logo.

“We’ve been big supporters now of the club for many years now and have taken great value in exploring many of the club’s different commercial avenues.

“We’re hoping the club can have an exciting season and wish new manager Jake Buxton and his squad the best of luck.”

Chairman Ben Robinson MBE DL, said: “Our partnership with Russel Roof Tiles continues to go from strength-to-strength and we are delighted that they have agreed to sponsor the clubs home and away shirts for next season.

“They are a very community-focussed company which shares the values and aspirations of the football club, and each year raises significant sums for charity.”
